DAR Scholarship CommitteeFact SheetNSDAR awards scholarships through the DAR Scholarship Committee. All applicants must be citizens of the United States and must attend, or plan to attend, an accredited college or university in the United States. All scholarships of four or more consecutive years or more are renewable only upon review and approval of annual transcript by the respective NSDAR chairman. Applicants must obtain a letter of sponsorship from their local DAR chapter. Gayle Cederberg is Regent for the Colonel John Mitchell Chapter, DAR. She can be reached by e-mail at vitalink@gci.net. Application forms for all scholarships may be obtained by sending a self addressed, stamped envelope to the Office of the Committees, NSDAR, 1776 D Street NW, Washington, DC 20006-5303. Any requests without the self addressed, stamped envelope will be discarded. Information on the American Indian Scholarship available through the American Indian Committee can be obtained in the same manner by specifying American Indian Scholarships on the outside envelope.
